Purple Day is an international grassroots effort dedicated to increasing awareness about epilepsy worldwide. Founded in 2008 by Cassidy Megan, a young girl with epilepsy, Purple Day encourages people to wear purple, the color representing epilepsy awareness, and engage in fundraising activities to support epilepsy research and education.
